ELDERLY HOME
Traditional Thai culture loves and respects its elderly. Most are looked after by their family, but what happens to those without family or those families cannot look after them. The lucky ones end up in an elderly home but even there, there is no one to visit to see them, to provide care and contact with the outside world.
Project Love is there visiting the home fortnightly they provide an interactive program of activities as well as opportunities to talk. They also provide care packages of hygiene for those who need it. Mainly they provide love to people whom our modern day society forgets.
At the Haven Project we love to share our vision and work with others. You can be a part of this vibrant ministry. Volunteers can apply to come for between one week to three months, and teams can apply for either all or some of their time overseas.
