The children we care for have been selected according to strict guidelines that ensure that we are only taking care of the most desperate and vulnerable children who have either lost one or both parents, and have no other family who is able or willing to care for them.

• With your help, we are giving these children a future and a hope. We are committed to them for a lifetime and consider each one in our care a true son or daughter.
• Our older children (now young adults) are being trained under one of our vocational trainee programs and are being set up for a bright future.

To meet a child’s basic needs for them to fulfil a life similar to that of those with parents, it costs approximately $90 per month. Haven Homes offers child and traineeship sponsorship packages that includes the following:

Part Sponsorship: $30 monthly / $60 monthly / $90 monthly

These costs include the following

• food
• accomadation, furniture and ulitities
• school fees and costs
• clothing and shoes
• Basic necessities (eg hygiene products)
• Staff salaries
• Occassional activies - (eg school holiday programs)

As a sponsor you should expect to receive:

• Newsletters throughout the year about Haven Children’s Homes
• 2 letters and a Christmas gift each year from your sponsor child
• Updates as to your sponsor child’s progress
• Updated photos of your sponsor child.
