One week on and the real devastation is just being revealed as is the desperate need, conditions and suffering for the families. Our medical teams, comprised of a surgeon, a trauma and emergency specialist and several doctors and nurses are facing an overwhelming task in sheer numbers of injured, hungry and traumatized communities. We desperately need further funds for medical supplies, food and water for thousands each day as the much needed international aid is tied up in bureaucratic red tape and lack of transport. The smaller teams with their own supplies are filling the gap, providing front line aid to the otherwise forgotten fringe areas and communities.Please repost this and share with your networks.
